  Goji berries are the fruits that are produced by goji berry plants. The plant is indigenous to the continent of Asia and specifically the countries that are home to the Himalayas. These mountain ranges provide the perfect environment needed for this plant to thrive and flourish.
  
  The goji berries are a common fruit of the people who inhabit this part of the world. These berries when ingested by humans have been proven to have many wonderful health advantages, some of which include the prevention of eye disorders, cancer preventative qualities and longevity of life.
  
  All of our Ruby Goji dried berries are dried using indoor driers in highly sanitary conditions without using any sulfides. Traditional sun-dried goji rely on the heavy use of sulfides to preserve the berry in unsanitary outdoor conditions, but they still may have high bacterial counts. They are often dried on or near roads which may also expose them to contamination. For these reasons, none of our products are dried outdoors in the traditional way.
